Graduation Success

St Clare's Abbey proudly congratulates

Mrs Toner and Mrs Donnelly on achieving  Masters accredited qualifications in the highly specialised field of educating pupils on the Dyslexic Spectrum.

Mrs Donnelly was awarded ATS- Associated Teacher Status and Mrs Toner  ATS & AMBDA- Associated Member of the British Dyslexia Association at a recent ceremony held in Queens University Belfast. They are members of a small and prestigious group of teachers in Northern Ireland who hold these qualifications.

We thank them sincerely for engaging in the challenging study required to secure their qualifications, which they will use to great effect to benefit the pupils in our school.

Mrs Cribbin has also completed a Masters module in meeting the needs of pupils with Literacy Difficulties.

Miss Rocks and Mrs Davey have completed a rigorous training programme in the same field. We are blessed to have such a wealth of experience and knowledge in our school.
