A group of children in Primary 5 are participating in this wonderful programme.
Roots of Empathy focuses on raising levels of empathy, resulting in more respectful and caring relationships. At the heart of this program are a neighbour infant and parent who visit our classroom frequently over this school year.
Theme 1 - MEETING THE BABY
Today we were introduced to little Eabha and her mummy, Clare. She is only ten weeks old and so cute. Over the coming weeks we will be observing Eabha's development and labelling her feelings and intentions. Little Eabha is our 'Teacher' and she will we help us to explore and reflect on our own feelings and the feelings of others.
