Uniform For Boys

P1- P7 Main School

  • Navy trousers ( May be purchased from any uniform supplier/ supermarket/ chain store etc)

  • Royal blue and white striped shirt (Only available from approved suppliers- Daisy’s, Mc Evoys & Saints and Scholars)

  • Royal blue tie (Only available from approved suppliers- Daisy’s, Mc Evoys & Saints and Scholars) 

  • Royal blue jumper with St Clare’s Abbey PS crest (Only available from approved suppliers- Daisy’s, Mc Evoys & Saints and Scholars)

  • Black shoes.(Trainers should only be worn with PE uniform)

 

  • JEWELLERY: The following pieces of jewellery is permitted: Wrist watch.  

 

  • To avoid accidents children are asked not to wear bracelets or necklaces

P.E. Tracksuit For Boys & Girls

P1 – P4 Tracksuit:

  • Navy sweatshirt tracksuit bottoms (Straight legged - uncuffed at ankle.)

  • Royal blue sweatshirt with school crest- NB St Clare’s Abbey Primary School crest. (Only available from approved suppliers- Daisy’s, Mc Evoys & Saints and Scholars)

  • Plain white polo shirt (no crest, therefore can be purchased wherever you see a bargain.)

  • Runners (Velcro fastening preferred in P1 & P2) – any colour. NOTE: We have been advised by sports tutors that children must wear a supportive runner, not a flat plimsole, eg Convers

  • Navy shell type tracksuit bottoms *** Different to P1-P4 tracksuit bottoms.

  • O Neill’s type royal blue sports top *** Different to P1 – P4 (Only available from approved suppliers- Daisy’s, Mc Evoys & Saints and Scholars)

  • Royal blue tie ((Only available from approved suppliers- Daisy’s, Mc Evoys & Saints and Scholars)

  • Royal blue cardigan (not jumper) with St Clare’s Abbey PS crest (Only available from approved suppliers- Daisy’s, Mc Evoys & Saints and Scholars)

  • Navy knee socks or navy tights.

  • Black or navy shoes.(Trainers should only be worn with PE uniform)

 

  • HAIR Girls are asked to wear simple hair clips, go-gos or small hairbands. 

  • JEWELLERY The following pieces of jewellery are permitted:   Wrist watch, ring and stud earrings.

  • To avoid accidents children are asked not to wear bracelets or necklaces
 

Optional Extras

Optional extras: 

  • Summer dress for girls (Blue and white stripe- only available from approved stockists- Daisy/ Mc Evoy’s & Saints and Scholars.) Must be worn with white ankle socks and royal blue school cardigan.

  • NB if there is sufficient interest we will explore the possibility of short navy tailored shorts  and short sleeved shirt for boys as a summer uniform.

  • Royal blue coat with school crest.

  • Royal blue O Neill’s type shorts can be worn by P5 – P7 for PE if desired.  ( Tracksuit is still required)
