Active Travel Superhero challenge

Dear Parents,

As part the ‘Sustrans Active School Travel programme’ we are currently partaking in the

‘Active Travel Superhero challenge’, which encourages pupils to make a greater effort walking to school.

It is wonderful to see so many pupils making a fantastic effort so far! 

We would be delighted if some photographs of your child on his/her journey to school could be sent in for our school website.

A school walk ‘selfie’ of your child walking to school can be e-mailed to stclaresabbey@gmail.com

The Active Travel Superhero challenge ends on Thursday 1st March which coincides with World Book Day 2018.

To mark the end of our challenge and World Book Day, pupils may come to school dressed up as their favourite book character or superhero on that day.

There will be lots of fun activities and prizes for those who have made the effort to walk to school during our challenge and spot prizes on World Book Day.

We look forward to seeing lots of pupils walking to school on Thursday 1st March.
