A Prayer to St Joseph

Pope Francis has declared a Year of St. Joseph in his Apostolic letter. "Patris cordis” (with a Father’s Heart). It marks the 150th Anniversary of the declaration of St. Joseph, as Patron of the Universal Church. The Holy Father describes St. Joseph as a ‘beloved father; a working father; a father in the shadows. At the conclusion of his letter he added a prayer to St. Joseph, which he encourages all of us to pray together.

St. Joseph is also known to us as the Protector of Families and we implore his intercession as we pray for families struggling during this pandemic to lead us through these difficult times and help us to never lose sight of the love of God.
