A visit to Newry Leisure Centre for Fairtrade fortnight

Members of our school Eco-council attended a Fairtrade event held at Newry leisure centre by the local council. We got to learn more about the importance of buying Fairtrade. We heard from a very special visitor from Peru. He is a farmer who produces coffee and is supported by fairtrade. We learned about how is work and life is impacted by Fairtrade and how important it is for us to buy Fairtrade.
