In P5 this week we carried out an activity called 'Can You Carry This?'. Firstly, we had to work in groups mind mapping ideas regarding the question "What is Bullying?". One child was chosen to stand at the front of the class. We listened to feedback, one group at a time, about what bullying is. As each suggestion was read out, one book was added into child's outstretched arms. As more suggestions were read out and we thought yes they are a form of bullying, the pile got heavier.
Finally, we discussed how each example of bullying added up, and all become too heavy to carry. We needed to suggest ideas how pupils could act differently in each example to STAMP OUT bullying.
