BBC CHRISTMAS WRITING COMPETITION
Well done to everyone who took part in the BBC 'A Christmas Wish' writing competition.
There were almost 1900 entries from schools all over Northern Ireland.
I am delighted to tell you that Evie McCaughey, one of our Primary 5 children has been selected as a finalist in her age category.
Evie's story, 'A Rock N Roll Christmas', will be voiced by actors and read on the Lynette Fay show on BBC Radio Ulster today, Monday at 3 o'clock.
We would love if you could tune in and listen while on your way home from school today.
As part of Evie's prize she will receive a framed illustration of her story and it will also be published in a downloadable book.
The overall winners of each category will be announced on the 23rd of December, with their story being made into an animation which will be shared on BBC.
I'm sure you will all join me in congratulating Evie and wishing her the very best of luck in the final.
