Carol Service Sunday 17th December

Sunday 17th December at 7.00pm in the Cathedral.

The Annual Carol Service in the Cathedral provides each one of us with the opportunity to take time away from the hustle and bustle of the season to think about the significance of the birth of Jesus and its effect on the life of each one of us Come along and join in the singing of your favourite carols.

During Advent we are usually so busy making practical preparations for Christmas, we can forget the real purpose of Advent which is to give us time to prepare and wait in joyful expectation for the coming of Jesus, the Word made flesh, to dwell among us.

Let us make time during Advent to pray, prepare and give thanks for God’s infinite love and humility in becoming Man to redeem and save us.
