Catholic Schools' Week 2020
Catholic Schools’ Week began on Sunday 26 January 2020, the theme for this year was Living in Harmony with God’s Creation.
St Clare’s Abbey played a key role in the Diocesan celebratory mass for Catholic School week held in St Therese’s Church in Banbridge on Thursday 30 January. The mass was officiated by Archbishop Eamon Martin and other diocesan priests.

Eco committee planted a tree for each school in the Diocese as part of the initiative ‘Our Happy Footprint of Carbon’, created by one of our parents- Mr Tony Meleady – founder of the ‘the treeshepherdproject.com’
One of our P7 pupils made a presentation to Sr Mercedes Coen to celebrate her retirement from the post of Diocesan Advisor for RE.
It was great to be part of such a special day and we are very proud of our pupils.
