December has been a busy month in Primary 2. The Teachers and Classroom Assistants in Primary 2 were very proud of how well the children performed in their Christmas play 'Ralf the Reindeer'. They were truly amazing and we love to see the children blossom in this different setting. Practising for the Christmas play took up quite a bit of time in December but there was still time for fun and Christmas art. We re told the Nativity story and made beautiful Christmas cards and decorations. Thank you to Mrs McQuillan for organising the beautiful photographs for the cards we gave to our families. We have been continuing to work on our problem solving skills and these are developing well.
Finally, we had a visit from Santa on our last day. This caused much excitement with the children and...
"I am happy to say he said all the children in Mrs McGoldrick's and Mrs McKeown's class are on the nice list".
We are very appreciative of all the beautiful cards and gifts that we received. You were all so generous and we were extremely happy to know that donations were made to those less fortunate than ourselves, on our behalf. The Primary 2 team would like to wish the children and their families a very Happy Christmas and every blessing in 2020.
The children will return to school on TUESDAY 7th January.
