Dining Hall Project

We are launching a whole school Dining Hall Project which will see the pupils competing against each other to demonstrate their:

• Use of ‘restaurant voices’- (just at the right volume)

• Best efforts to use cutlery correctly

• Effort to try new things

• Beautiful manners

• Ability to leave our dining space tidy once they have finished using it

We will have beautiful displays, music, prizes and as part of this process the School Council will be leading a competition to ‘rename’ the canteen.

Parents, I ask for your support in this work by urging your child to use cutlery for their meals at home. It is a skill that huge numbers of our pupils have not yet fully mastered and practice will make perfect.
