Eco-Schools World Days of Action
2nd – 6th November
This week in St. Clare’s Abbey we have been pledging our support for the new ‘Live Here Love Here’ campaign which has been created to encourage everyone in Northern Ireland to show their love for where they live by looking after their environment. Each year group is making an extra special effort this week to look after their world by completing a class challenge! The challenges are as follows:
Primary 1: We are making a special effort to ‘spruce’ up our classroom by remembering to put all of your paper into the recycling bin.
Primary 2: We are making a special effort to turn off lights when not in use.
Primary 3: We are making a special effort to shut down computers and iPads when not in use.
Primary 4: We are making a special effort to close all doors and turn off our projector when not in use.
Primary 5: We are making a special effort to turn off iPads when not in use. We are also making a special effort to close all doors.
Primary 6: We are making a special effort to turn off iPads when not in use. We are also making a special effort to close all doors.
Primary 7: We are making a special effort to turn off lights and iPads when not in use. We are also making sure that doors are closed so as to retain more heat within our classroom.
Thanks for all your support,
St. Clare’s Abbey Eco Council
