Fairtrade Fortnight

HOW: by choosing to buy Fairtrade goods.

Fairtrade Fortnight is taking place from 23rd February - 8th March this year! As part of our Fairtrade Fortnight 2015 celebrations, the Primary 1 classroom has transformed its role play area into a Fairtrade Farm Shop! Primary One have been very busy writing shopping lists for their Fairtrade Farm Shop, using some local Fairtrade store pamphlets. Primary One have enjoyed doing some Fairtrade shopping in their roleplay area, buying Fairtrade tea, chocolate chip cookies and sugar.

This fortnight we have been chatting a lot about the benefits of buying Fairtrade for farmers around the world and for ourselves.

On Thursday, Primary One and Two were lucky to sample some tasty Fairtrade ice cream, fruit, cookies and chocolate.
