January in Miss Jones's Class
January has been a very busy month for Primary 2. We went on a nature walk and found a very strange looking egg. We weren't too sure where the egg came from but we had lots of fun creating some very interesting stories about it. We thought maybe it had a baby dragon inside or even a dinosaur!
In numeracy we have been trying out different ways to add and subtract. Sometimes we count out sets or we use a number line.
We used lots of different shapes to create our own dinosaurs, have a look at our picture to see some of our scary creations!
Dinosaurs in our new topic for this term and we really enjoyed telling each other what we already know. We can't wait to continue exploring this topic during play and see what other interesting facts we will learn!
