In this half term we have enjoyed lots of lovely Autumnal weather and have enjoyed playing in our wonderful outdoor areas alongside indoor construction and creative classroom. This children have worked hard to develop their physical skills of climbing, clambering, running, jumping and landing with lots of children mastering the skill of climbing both the tree in the forest and the meadow. There has been lots of experimenting in the sand, quarry and mud station and the children have exploring adding water to their projects. In the indoor areas we have focused on looking closely at images and objects to create them exactly at the observational drawing area and the children have worked on their understanding of weight while trying to get the blocks to balance and stack at the construction areas.
