March has brought so many wonderful things to our classroom!
We enjoyed two dress up days this month! The first was for World Book Day where we dressed up as our favourite character from a book! Miss Friel was so impressed with the effort that everyone went to!
We also had a wonderful day dressing up in green for St Patrick’s day! Miss Mackin organised a Celi for us and we had such fun!
We celebrated Pancake Tuesday and learnt about the beginning of Lent! We made our promises to god of what we were going to scarafice for him.
We have also been working incredibly hard in our Literacy and Numeracy. We have been improving our writing stamina and learning our number bonds!
We have begun a new theme for our Play Based Learning where wer have enjoyed looking at cars and their different features. We have transferred these experiences into our learning by making clay models of cars, observational drawing and building multi-storey buildings!
We are getting ready for our well deserved Easter break in a few weeks, but are determined to make the most of our time left in school!
