Hello everyone, I hope you are all well

 

I have seen all the beautiful messages and photos on the website, they are simply amazing 😁👏

 

This week I am going to talk about the importance of using positive affirmations. I feel it is crucial for everyone as it helps develop our self confidence and self esteem.

Affirmations in Relax Kids is the 6th step (Believe) of our 7 steps to relaxation. It’s all about being able to believe in yourself, notice your own strengths and celebrate them.

So what is a ‘positive’ affirmation? It’s a positive word or sentence that you repeat to yourself to help you feel better, feel more confident and feel happy

Just like we eat healthy food to help our bodies grow strong and healthy, we also need positive and happy thoughts to help keep our minds healthy. Positive affirmations help us to grow feeling strong and confident inside.

The more we repeat happy and positive thoughts, the more happy and positive we feel and the more likely we are to say positive words and so carry out positive actions.

So think about 3 positive qualities that you have☀️ you can make your own or you can simply use one from the calendar each day. I am Great, Fantastic....... It’s important that you make it all about you. Use ‘I’ as you’re talking about yourself. Use present tense ‘am’, it’s about right here and right now Use a positive word to finish eg Kind, Caring........

It’s a great way to start the day, when you get up in the morning say a positive affirmation (3 times) and again before you go to bed at night. 

It is a really powerful tool that you can use every day to help keep your mind strong and healthy. The more we repeat happy and positive thoughts, the more happy and positive we feel

The more we think happy and positive thoughts, the more likely we are to say positive words and so carry out positive actions.  Remember you have got to use them to help keep your mind strong. Remember it helps develop self confidence and self esteem.
