We have had a very busy month of September!
Miss Mallon's class have been great mathematicians, searching for 2D shapes inside the classroom and sorting them according to how many sides/corners they have. We have also been sorting heavy and light items of food that the very hungry caterpillar might eat...All of the boys and girls have been doing wonderful pieces of writing and revising over sounds in the alphabet. We have enjoyed listening to lovely stories about enormous turnips and other exciting themes!
All of the boys and girls in Primary Two have begun learning about our new World Around Us and Play Based Learning Topic of Space and we were fantastic scientists making observations on a demonstration of a rocket-like reaction between coke and mentos.
