February has been a great month for the boys and girls in Miss Mallon's class.
In Numeracy we have been exploring addition to greater detail using numicon, number lines and mental maths strategies.
Our topic of dinosaurs has been so engaging and the boys and girls worked so well together gathering interesting pieces of information about T-Rex in order to write an informed report.
We recently discovered a mysterious, large, silver egg in a tree at school. We explored the scene of the discovery and came up with our own creative stories about what would possibly hatch! There are lots of budding authors in P2. Remember, if you let yourself believe in whatever you wish, your imagination holds more stories than a full library!
Miss Mallon was so proud that the boys and girls won best line at lining up time in the playground. We won extra playtime and had a great time in the park.
