Mr Digney's P5 visit Tesco

As part of our WAU topic on food, P5 visited Tesco to learn about where food that we eat comes from, how it is stored, how it is produced and the amount of sugar that certain foods we eat every day contain. Some of the findings were quite shocking, we never would have guessed that some foods that we think are healthy and good for us contain such high levels of sugar. We ended our trip with a healthy lunch before returning to school. Thank you to Tesco Newry for showing us around their store.
