Mrs Keenan's P2 class Home Learning
The boys and girls in Primary 2 worked so hard home with their parents/guardians during the Home Learning from January until March. We learnt new spellings, practised writing sentences and explored fiction and non-fiction books. Every week the boys and girls worked diligently reading their new books on bug club and learning their High Frequency Words. In Numeracy, we learnt about adding and subtracting, developed lots of mental maths skills and explored shape, time, weight and length. Mathletics has been a super resource and so many children earned certificates for work in this area. The boys and girls have enjoyed lots of opportunities to play at home inside and outside, learning a little bit about our local area. In addition to this, I have been really impressed with how helpful the boys and girls have been at home, making their bed, washing dishes and even preparing their own snacks!
Have a look through the photographs which showcase some of the super work from the boys and girls.
