Mrs McVeigh's P6 experiment: The Wind Turbine Challenge

The children as part of their Irish Counties project were looking at famous scientists from Ireland. We looked at Francis Beaufort (Co. Meath) and his invention of the wind scale. We were also looking at what renewable energy was and so decided to have a go at the Wind Turbine Challenge. We had mixed outcomes but it was great fun.
