Newry Parish Family Ramble
Newry Parish Family Ramble is a 5km walk, starting from the Parish Office on Hill Street on Sunday 24th April 2016 at 1pm, continuing around the city, visiting all our Churches and finishes at the Parish Centre on The Mall with light refreshments.
The walk is planned by our Parish Youth Leaders as a fund-raising event to support the many activities and programmes that they offer our young people.
The walk is a great opportunity to spend some quality family time outdoors, get some exercise and enjoy the sights of our city. You can walk at your own pace, so this is a great event for everyone, young and young at heart.
Brother Philip Mulryne, a retired Manchester United footballer will join us for the ramble. Philip started his career at Manchester United before playing more than 150 games for Norwich City and was a Northern Ireland international. After his retirement from football in 2008 he began studying for the Priesthood.
You can register on the day of the walk from 11am until 12.45pm. Cost is only £5 per person. A special family rate of £15 for three or more people is also available. Small children go free.
Starts 1pm
