First Northern Ireland Climate Festival
Climate Craic is an up and coming project created through a program held by Co-operation Ireland and the British Council.
It will be a celebration of climate action. The community centred ethos of the festival is that it is inviting to all - going beyond the climate bubble, activists and experts. Our vision is to engage with and educate citizens, invite politicians to listen and engage with speakers and create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere through creative acts, performers, musicians and educational/sustainable business stalls. We want to bring citizen and political action and awareness together, while shining light on the joy of engaging with nature, community and the arts.
We are holding The Festival at Stormont on Sunday 19th September.
It's a free, family-friendly event running from 12:00 - 19:00.
There will be plant-based food vendors, different fun activities and lots of music!
Considering the larger space available at Stormont estate, we are ensuring that a physical presence is possible while retaining social distancing & maximum numbers in keeping with restrictions.
We're also looking for volunteers too, so if you know anybody who is looking to volunteer, point them our way! Here is the link for signing up to volunteer: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1sc5nKwaZmLkYFXstqO3anzrjfatu-y-GjjvshBgZ1xw/edit
