November and December were two very busy months in our class. We have been working very hard across all areas of the Curriculum.
In Literacy we have been exploring instructional writing. We looked at different examples of instructions and used these to help us write our own. We even got to try them out in the classroom. In Numeracy we have been learning how to add numbers within 20 using Numicon. Our non-number work in Numeracy has included lots of work on money and creating Pictograms using Just2Easy.
In Play-Based Learning we have had great fun exploring various ways of moving water, buildings in our locality and making sculptures of these using clay. Alongside this we have also been observing changes in the weather as Autumn comes to an end and we enter Winter. December has been a fun-filled month with lots of Christmas arts and crafts and a special visit from Santa!
