October News Miss Rocks

October was another busy month in our class.  In Literacy we were learning about poetry.  We read lots of fun poems about sounds that our feet can make and we wrote some poems of our own.  We were learning about poets, rhyming words, patterns and alliteration.  In Numeracy we completed lots of work on measuring.  We estimated and measured weight, capacity and area.  In World Around Us we were learning about Transport.  We made boats from different materials and tested if they could float.
