We were busy during February. We began this month by celebrating St Brigid’s day. We listened to stories about this special saint. Sr Rosemary visited us and told us about St Blaise, then she blessed our throats.
We are working really hard in literacy, writing sentences together and having a go at writing our own sentences independently. We have learned lots more high frequency words. Our new sounds were d, h and g.
We explored the numbers 11 and 12 in numeracy as well as addition. We were so excited to visit Bagnal’s Castle as we have learned lots about castles in school. During play we have created lots of our own castles using construction materials and through drawing and painting experiences also.
We have had a great month learning together.
