P1 Outdoor Play

Falling temperatures this week have not prevented the children and adults at St Clare’s Abbey PS, from getting outside. With all kitted out in appropriate clothing, it was business as usual: children learning to balance and navigate obstacle courses on 2 wheeled scooters, whilst others design and build their version of Bagenal's castle. Children were absorbed in creating a wind powered engine to open the drawbridge. There was lots of designing, measuring, balancing predicting, testing and teamwork observed.
