P1 Trip
On Wednesday 24th May the Primary one classes went to Fort Evergreen Warrenpoint. It was a glorious day and we enjoyed the short bus trip on lovely air conditioned busses. The children all wore their seatbelts.
When we arrived the staff explained the day and we divided into two groups to enable us to take turns in the Fort, on the zip-line, on the toy farm machinery and to meet the animals.
Everyone enjoyed the exciting Bumble Bee Train ride. Mr Annett was an excellent driver and the sprinklers added to the excitement. Mr Annett stopped the quad for a moment at a certain point on the journey and some people on the train got "sprinkled" but, what better on a warm day!
After lunch we all enjoyed bottle feeding the lambs.
On returning to school the children enjoyed an ice-lolly.
Thank you to Mr John Annett and his staff and thank you to Mr Campbell and Mrs Mallon for their help on the day.
A very big THANK YOU to "our" wonderful Primary one children.
