P4 Exploring Newton’s Law through catapult making

Mrs Doherty / Mrs Donnelly’s class had such fun during their STEM activity, learning about gravity and Newton’s law of motion. They could explore how energy was transferred from the elastic band into the ball. A healthy competition occurred when the children tested their catapult to see whose ball travelled further! This was a great opportunity for team work, resilience, perseverance and exploration. We think we have a few future scientists 👩‍🔬
