October has been a really busy month in our class. Please have a look at some of the beautiful lessons and learning we have been doing. You will not believe how hard working we have been!
In literacy we have begun learning our sounds with s, a t, and p now taught. We love the exciting ways in which we learn our sounds. We were so lucky to have our own “Tiger tea party”. It was a lot of fun.
In numeracy we have been working hard at forming our numbers to 3, making sets and counting forwards and backwards lots and lots. If we continue to do this everyday, the number sequence can stay in our heads. We enjoyed all our maths week activities also.
Play based learning has involved visits to the quarry, mud kitchen, outdoor construction and creative classroom. We have been working really hard on our skills of working together and taking turns.
The Primary 1 team are so proud of all the fabulous learning our boys and girls have done in October. We hope you have a fantastic and safe Halloween and we look forward to seeing you all again in November. Enjoy your break! 😀
