Each month, as part of Primary 4 preparation for Holy Communion, the Primary 4 children are participating in monthly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
For half an hour each month, pupils are led in Eucharistic Adoration, which involves pupils having time to sit in silent prayer, time to pray aloud, time to sing the Our Father, adding hand movements, and time to listen to and discuss a Bible story.
Pupils are thoroughly enjoying their time of prayer with Jesus, some saying that they felt ‘relaxed and calm’, ‘refreshed’ and that they had ‘a nice feeling in their heart’ after spending time together in silent, reflective prayer.
