Primary 1 boys and girls went on a fantastic trip to Slieve Gullion- The Giant’s Lair organised by Sticky fingers Arts.
The children were taken on a tour from Mrs Brambles, Bluebell and Brian the magical kingdom helper.
The boys and girls chose their magical wands that would help them become involved in the magic of the kingdom. They had a special spell to say on their way around the Lair, ‘Dabee doo, Dabee day, these are the magic words we say!’
The boys and girls met a baby dragon, Melvin the wizard, listened to stories about the lake at the top of Slieve Gullion and took home some dragon scales to put under our pillows to help us have magical dreams.
The boys and girls had a picnic in the park and got to have some fun in the adventure play park.
All of the children were praised so highly for their wonderful behaviour and excellent manners!
