Safer Internet Day 2021

Tuesday 9th February 2021 is Safer Internet Day - a day when we celebrate staying safe online.  In St Clare's Abbey we have a great ethos of online safety and follow our Online Safety Mascot's four rules:

Content - If unsure always show and tell an adult.

Contact - NEVER talk to strangers online.

Contact - Always be kind online no matter what way you contact anyone. Commercial - Never open any pop up windows or marketing emails.  Always show and tell and adult.  

On Tuesday 9th February at 8:30pm Wayne Denner, Online Safety Trainer, is holding online workshops focusing on 'Digital Detox' and 'Parenting in a Digital World'.  These will be streamed live on Wayne Denner's Facebook page (talk2wayne).
