The school council have decided to raise money for the St Mary's restoration fund. We use this church for First Confession and First Holy Communion and wanted to help the Parish Fundraising Committee achieve its target. The school council aim to raise £4000 between December and June.
The Church was built in 1879 and is affectionately known by all Newry parishioners as "The Old Chapel".
On Friday 12th December we are having a Christmas jumber / hat or head gear day. A donation of £1 is requested froom each pupil.
