September and October Primary 2 Miss Rocks

We have had a busy start to our Primary 2 year, settling into school life after the holidays and trying our best to follow our school code. In Literacy we have been working on story writing, poetry and non fiction. In Numeracy our number skills have been developing well and we have focused on numbers to 20, counting forwards and backwards and identifying missing numbers. Play Based Learning has afforded us lots of opportunities to learn in the forest, quarry, sand, water, mud, construction and creative classroom. Here we have worked hard on our physical skills of hand strength, fine motor control, climbing, jumping and running.
