September News Miss Rocks

September was a very busy month in our class. In Numeracy we were learning about numbers up to 50.  We counted forwards and backwards, looked at numbers before, after and between and found missing numbers.  We were also learning about measuring length.  In Literacy we were learning about writing stories with familiar settings and we wrote stories about teachers that turned into creatures.  In World Around Us we began our topic 'Transport'.  Sr Rosemary also came to visit us and blessed our school bags and lunch boxes.
