Speech & Language Survey For Parents & Staff

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists Northern Ireland are working with the Department of Education on our project Language Launchpad to:
- Look at the speech, language and communication needs of our babies, children and young people across a wide range of stakeholders. We would be very grateful if you could complete the survey and share the link below with your school staff and families.
We have also attached a QR code and would be grateful if you could print this for your staff room or community board.

- Promote the free evidenced based training by Help Kids Talk - Basic Awareness and Level 1. This is delivered online by a speech and language therapist; dates are available to book until the end of March 2025.

This training is suitable for parents, staff and volunteers working with babies, children and young people. We would be grateful if you could share the link with your staff and families. We have attached an additional training QR code and would be grateful if you could print this for your staff room or community board.
- Help Kids Talk has some capacity to offer face-to-face training in Basic Awareness and Level 1 for large groups, please contact Sue on the email below if this is of interest to you.
- Based on the information provided in the survey, we will be working on producing resources with Help Kids Talk. Resources will initially be based on the early years. Where required we will be holding focus groups and we would encourage you to opt in for these at the end of the survey.
- The survey will close on 31 December 2024.
