As a gesture of good will and to mark the link up between St Clare's Abbey and Newry Shamrocks GAC, a cheque was presented to the school, by committee member John Murphy on behalf of Newry Shamrocks. This donation will be used to further the development of Gaelic games within the school. Many thanks to Newry Shamrocks for their kind donation, we hope this is the beginning of a wonderful partnership and we wish them the best of luck with the rest of their season across all disciplines and in all age groups. For any boy or girl who wishes to train and play with the club, training takes place on Sunday mornings in Pairc Esler at 10am and at 6.30pm on Wednesday evenings.
