STEM CHALLENGE-HOW TO MAKE A CATAPULT P4
Mrs Cribbin’s class
The children have developed an understanding of levers from making their own catapult in class, an exciting way to learn about physics and engineering. The children were able to work together to build a simple yet effective homemade catapults capable of launching various items up into the air! This prompted opportunities to discuss our use of force and energy and how this converted into energy of motion. The children were most excited to see which group could catapult their ball or Pom Pom the furthest!
