"Wear it Pink"

Breast Cancer "wear it pink day" is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK.

Taking place this year on Friday 20th October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people will wear pink in their communities.

Since the first event in 2002 over £30 million pounds has been raised for life-saving research.

Research that's working to discover how to prevent breast cancer,

how to detect it earlier and

how to treat it effectively at every stage so we can stop the disease taking lives.

Today the community of St Clare's Abbey would like all the beautiful ladies that have experienced Breast Cancer in the past and especially the ladies who are going through treatment at the moment to know, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
