Dear Parents/ Carers and Children
Welcome to Relax Kids week 10
We have been truly blessed with this beautiful sunshine â˜€ï¸ I hope you are getting a chance to enjoy it, as it’s rich in vitamin D.
As promised I have put a photo up of my dog Pepi, she is 12 years old and a wee sweetheart 💕 She loves to play football and enjoys getting lots of hugs. Her favourite food is spaghetti bolognese😋
This weeks Relax Kids we are going to use step 4 of Relax Kids which is Feel/ Massage 💜🌈☀ï¸
It’s lovely to connect with our bodies, and also so calming for our whole central nervous system.
Try these gentle massages
Head massage: Gently rub, pat, stroke and tap your scalp with your finger tips.
Gently squeeze your ears.👂
Gently squeeze the tip of your nose and gently press under your eyes. 👀
Shrug shoulders up and down.
Sun Screen: Gently pretend to rub sun lotion on your shoulders, arms, legs and face.☀ï¸â˜€ï¸â˜€ï¸
Feel/ Massage: When we massage dopamine and serotonin chemicals are released which helps us to feel calm and safe, lowers stress levels.💜🌈ðŸ˜
I have also added recorded meditation ( Battery Charger) below in Relax Kids guidance😴 and please continue to use any of your choice. Enjoy feeling relaxed and peaceful 😴ðŸ˜
