Pope Francis has established a World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly, which will take place for the first time on Sunday 25th July 2021 on the theme “I am with you always” (Mt28:20)
“Grandparents are a treasure in the family. Please, take care of your grandparents: love them and let them talk to your children!” (Pope Francis)
As we prepare to celebrate the World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly on this coming Sunday, we keep in our thoughts those grandparents who are not able to see their grandchildren for whatever reason and let us keep our own grandparents in our prayers.
