We welcomed Mr Savage and Mr Fleming along with pupils from Abbey Grammar School, Refath, Nathan and Adam to receive a cheque from our school council for £100. The Abbey gentlemen previously attended assembly to teach us about their Zambian project and to tell us about their fundraising efforts prior to them travelling to Zambia later this year. Our school council were so impressed that, despite having already chosen their charities for 24/25, they wanted to give a little from their fundraising account to help them raise a substantial amount for a much needed cause. Our school council have urged the pupils to return in September in the hope that they could be a chosen charity for 25/26.
