First Term Mrs Keenan's Primary 2

What a wonderful first half term it has been in Primary 2. The boys and girls have been enjoying time together again with their friends, thriving in the outdoors and exploring our forest! Inside the classroom we have been very busy in Numeracy working on sorting, data handling, and developing their understanding of Number. We are loving getting involved in reading again together, using different strategies to read and chat about the stories with our friends. Our skills of writing are getting warmed up and the boys and girls have been working on finger spaces, capital letters and trying to write as much as we can! In Grow in Love we have been reading about the story of creation and recognising that we have to take care of our world. In the month of November we are remembering all of those who have died and gone to heaven, we love to sing our remember song. Enjoy the photographs which give a little insight into our class.
