Miss McShane's Class; The Last Supper
Mr Mckernan (student teacher) talked to the children about The Last Supper. He explained that it was a meal Jesus shared with his friends. Mr McKernan then let the class share a meal together consisting of crackers and juice. This was significant to the children as it was Mr Mckernan's last day in St Clare's Abbey. The children broke their cracker and talked to each other about what they might do over the Easter holidays.
Mr Mckernan has asked us to pass on his thanks to the parents who wished him well or give him gifts.
The Primary one team want to express their gratitude to Mr McKernan for all he did during his time in St Clare's Abbey. We can't thank him enough for helping with the move to our new school and for assembling our new play resources. We wish him every success for the future and much happiness with baby Sophie.
