Mrs Sloan's Class; January

We have been looking at traditional stories such as the ‘Princess and the Frog’. We gave the stories a ‘twist’ and had lots of fun thinking of questions for the characters and taking part in role-play.

We have started our topic of ‘winter’. We are doing lots of experiments with Ice and thinking a lot about how we adapt to cope with the winter weather.

In Numeracy we are learning all about 3D shapes. We looked at the 2D shapes that make the faces of a cube and a cuboid. Here you can see us making our own 3D shapes.
