October in P2 Miss Mallon's class

Have a look through our photographs to see what we have been getting up to during the month of October.

We have been working on teen numbers in Numeracy and have enjoyed learning songs to help us remember each teen number, counting out different objects and using the iPads to help us in our learning.

In Literacy a big focus has been on non-fiction books. We know that non-fiction books are information books. We even wrote our very own non-fiction book all about fruit! There was lots of fun learning all about rhyming words, we enjoyed using the rhyming pots to sort different items which rhyme!

In our World Around us topic, as we have been learning all about space, we designed and created a rocket that would safely transport Winnie the Pooh up to Outer Space; we are getting much better at working as a team.
