P6 Literacy April

Our new school provided us with wonderful opportunities to enhance and practise our literacy skills in Primary 6.

We wrote a newspaper article relating to our school opening and then compared ours with the ACTUAL articles from local newspapers.  We were impressed by our journalistic skills!!

We also practised our letter writing by writing letters of gratitude to Mrs Monaghan, Canon Brown, Minister O’Dowd and Bishop McAreavey who helped to bring our build to fruition and who attended our opening ceremony. Of course there are lots of people to thank.  We are so grateful to all the people involved in creating a lovely new school for us.
